IPMS-BELGIUM NAT CON REPORT 2006.
Daniel Clamot attended this show and reported the following.
The convention took place at Wieze,
like for those two precedent years. It was, for Philippe Spriesterbach (aka
Edmond Thieffry), Fred Liefferinckx (aka Theo Osterkamp) and me (aka
Draken/Scimitar), the first time we organised our WW I Challenge.
That Challenge was open to every model kit for an a/c, tank, etc that
was actually existing during WW I.
Paul Vandermaelen receiving
the trophy from the hands of Philippe Spriesterbach.

Whippet MK I from Pascal Coupienne,
winner in the tanks category

Morane type G from Paul
Vandermaelen, winner of the Challenge WW I,
but also bronze in the general contest.

Sopwith Camel F1 from Marko Baric, winner in the a/c 1/48 and higher;
but also silver in the general contest

Daniel's Belgian D
VII won Gold in a/c, propellers, 1/48.

Sarah, the daughter
of Pascal Coupienne, won each silver with her Tomcat. The Tomcat
was made during the Make&Take and then entered in contest: it
was very sympathic!

Pascal Coupienne made
a less good result than his daughter ;0) : bronze with his
Crusader.

Philippe receiving
the IPMS-Belgium challenge trophy for his Nieuport 16.

In the junior
category, my daughter Mathilde won silver with her Ladybug

Edmond Thieffry

DIII won Gold in a/c, propellers, 1/72

The Best of Show: a dio
